Attempted a few offset turning projects recently, this was by far the hardest. Started out way too large a log, should have made a much smaller one. Wanted the face plate to fit in holes evenly spaced apart and reuse the holes on the last offset. Turned the outside like a normal bowl the cut three times inside with the same offset. Getting the depth and diameter right was trick, I did go a little deeper than I intended.

The lump of cherry was not the best, lots of cracks that I filled with superglue.



Turned of four different axis, very tricky, didn’t really enjoy making it, doubt I will be making another like this.
