Some of my best work.
These pieces are mostly produced for competitions
Rocket Box
Took a long time to make, designed in CAD and turned so the wall thickness is constant. I designed and 3D printed a jig to attach the feet so they are perfectly positioned
£180.00

Segmented Clock
The original disc was just an experiment to see if I could cut segments on a band saw with a bevel to make a dished disc. Very difficult to turn.
£35.00

Four Leg Stool
More a skew practice to see if I could make four identical spindles just using the skew. Well, they are as close as I could get.
£59.00

Double Horn
Segmented pine was used to make these horns that fit on an iPhone. Surprised how good the sound was. I like making these.
£160.00

Metal Inlay Bowl
Competition challenge piece. Two strips of brazing rod and copper pipe lined holes.
£35.00

Arrow Bowl
Made after watching a demo of an arrow through an impossible small hole in a bowl. Great fun but this was my third attempt at the arrow
£45.00

Christmas Tree
Really liked making this. Its encompasses all the skills I like to try. Very satisfied how it turned out, may make another one.
£199.00
Smoke Bowl
From a Smoke Tree that died in my garden in Peterborough. The wood is amazing but there was not a lot of it. Let me know if you ever chop down a smoke tree.
£19.00

Maracas
A percussionist friend asked me to make him some. The tops are 3D printed and filled with various beads and rice. They sound great but I am not at a percussionist.
SOLD

Christmas Tree
A demo challenge to make a “bird cage” Christmas ornament became an obsession. Made several from scraps of wood. Took a long time to make.
£199.00

Barometer
The barometer was in a small veneer plaque. Was presented to an employee from Perkins Engines in 1972. I revamped it with this yew space ship stand and barley twist stem.
£130.00

Barley Twisted Clock
The twisted stem was made using a 3D printed jig which had to be adapted as it kept destroying the wood.
£199.00

Future Time Clock
Adapted from several other projects that didn’t quite work. Very pleased how it came out.
